A Passion, Family Passion
Pomup is a family business born from the love for a precious raw material and the ambition to create an unmistakable product.
In addition to the smooth round tomato, oil, garlic and oregano, among the ingredients we use there are passion and collaboration. Over the years, in fact, we have perfected the selection of tomatoes and the processing methods, managing to create the only semi-dried and fresh tomato at the same time.
We were still very young when our parents decided to embark on this adventure: they spent many nights inside the oven rooms, experimenting with production methods and times, without ever giving in to the temptation to give up.
In the end, passion and dedication prevailed over all the difficulties encountered along the way, and from what in our childhood was a “simple tomato” a real treasure was born that is a source of pride for us.
We children, Vito and Lucia, inspired by so much love for this work, have chosen to take part in this great family project that is Pomup, to continue to dream big and always achieve new goals.
A Family, that grows
Today ours is a close-knit team that also includes Mauro, an agronomist and expert in the sector who provides a valuable contribution by following the entire production process: it is also thanks to him that our semi-dried tomatoes are so delicious!
In our family business, in short, everyone has their role, but every important decision is shared and taken together: this is how we complement each other and find inspiration and support in each other.
Every day we produce Pomup with the raw materials that we have learned to know and love since we were children and each jar contains all the passion that has guided and united us for generations!
Our fresh semi-dried tomatoes are the result of love, dedication and the desire to continue to enhance what our land gives us, transforming this beautiful and red raw material into a simple but extremely precious product.
